Our heating and cooling system is also eco-friendly, with hot water being entirely generated by SOLAR PANELS in summer. For winter heating, we have radiators with adjustable thermostats (in each apartment) run on an ecological biomass system.
In line with our environmental and ecological philosophy, we have chosen not to install air conditioners, but favour a NATURAL VENTILATION system that relies on windows and fans. Roof insulation and the old stone walls around 60cm thick tend to keep temperatures cool inside the apartments.
These expedients make our facility environmentally and biodiversity-friendly.
A key factor in determining if a holiday is relaxing is the quality of sleep.
Here at Ai Massi we have also thought of this. We personally chose the mattresses, opting for certified fireproof, hypoallergenic materials with 5cm 100% pure cotton toppers.
All mattress covers, sheets, pillowcases, pillows (in memory foam) and bedspreads are anti-mite, anti-bedbug, 100% pure cotton and fireproof.
Each of our beds is designed to promote not only “restful” but also healthy, safe sleep.
